It was rubbish becuase it was advertised as freeware but the file was corrupt and the only option was verison 1.6 which is not freeware so I found another package which worked.I have noted your web address to avoid further frustation.

The application does not support the type of files I was wanted to split, specifically video MPEG files.

I used this after an unbrick procedure for a ST3500320AS Seagate hard disk (SD15 firmware fails and disk become inaccessible,unbrick procedure is described elsewhere) . Partitions were EXT3 formatted and I could access all the data and make backup from my desktop XP sp3 PC.The tool is clear, transparent interface and really high speed recovering files and directories.I recommend this tool. My NAS suddenly wouldn\'t allow the drives to be accessed. When I attemped to administer the NAS it wanted to \"FORMAT\" the drives ... no way.I removed the HDDs and placed them in a USB cradle and they registed, phew. But, they weren\'t Windows format ...This software allowed the Linux Native volume\'s to be read from a Win XP environment.The process of \"copying\" (it may be doing more for recovery) the files out is labourious (almost 2TB across both drives), but at least I am able to do so.

I was able to download the Linux Reader in order to snag some files off of a non working linux partition. I had run an update and temporarily lost the use of my Linux OS. I needed some files in a pinch. I\'ve save many Windows partitions with live Linux tools. This time it was the other way around.

Seems like a good product, it does what it is suppose to do. I believe that linux has far better support for reading differnt partion types.

Wonderful utility, it let me recover my files from a failed ext2 drive using Windows, and it managed to recover everything when a $40 program wouldn't.

This is an outstanding product! After downloading another PCL viewer that would not fully render the file I needed to view, I found and installed PCLReader. This product did exactly what I needed it to do, and it has additional functionality that I look forward to using in the future.

Solved the problem. The product worked as advertised. I rescued some files from a hard drive (Windows XP) from a computer whose cpu fried, using an older computer (Millenium). I slaved the hard drive to the primary on the millenium, and the product read it perfectly. No glitches whatsoever.I'll recommend it to anyone with similar problems.

I recommend this software I searched for something, what will allow me to get access to my data on dynamic XP windows disk. I could do it for free and save all my data. Thank you DiskInternals!

saved my files that windows could`nt see saved files from failing hard drive that windows was asking to format. got 95% of files from hard drive with bad sectors only lost files that were written to those sectors overall excellent for free software. thanks guys i was able to save most of my 22GB music library

DiskInternals NTFS Reader Very Good Program, Highly Recommended. I had a hard drive completely corupted with CRC errors, that other programs could not read, DiskInternals NTFS Reader found the drive and access all files & DIR's on the first attempt. Using there other program DiskInternals NTFS Recovery, I was able to save 95% of the files on the hard drive.

File Splitter The application did not perform as promised. It took a 10 GB AVI video file and produced a 1.5 GB file and two 1.0 GB files, none of which were playable on my computer. I have deleted the application from my computer and successfully used a program called AVI Splitter.

Good but slow It does the job bet I want to split dvd-iso files of 4,4GB in half because than it fits on my FAT32 External-Hard disk. But I it takes to long and I only need 2 pieces. So It's good use but not what I want.

did not work I had a 4.5 gigabyte file I was trying to split. Every time I ran FFS it created only 1 chunk and then stopped. Looked to me like it "forgot" to start over with a new filename so it just created and re-created that first chunk until it finished the file, but it was over-writing the file so in the end I only had the last chunk.(Why use it? I created an image of my hard drive using Acronis TrueImage which was 4.5 gb in size. Then I needed to transport it with a fat32 external drive. Fat32 has a 4gb limit ...

I downloaded this program and inpout some items, but ran of time to do a full test.Two days later I opened up another database Invoicing program , and what did I get, but, the Free Hotel software tried to load. I tried a further program that of Genealogy program and once again the Free Hotel attempted to load up. So that my existing programs will run I have had to uninstall the free Hotel software.
